Though some applicants choose to apply after four or five years of work experience, many promising candidates are optimally prepared for the MBA after two or three years of experience—or directly from College. Ultimately, you are in the best position to determine whether you are ready to apply.

Our MBA selection process is thoughtful, thorough and need-blind. Once students are admitted, they may apply for financial aid; PIIMR is committed to making the MBA Program accessible to students with a demonstrated financial need.

Genuine business talent cannot be narrowly defined. Instead of looking for an "ideal" candidate, PIIMR invites MBA applicants who exhibit a variety of skills, accomplishments, and temperaments. The true common characteristics of our students are demonstrated leadership potential and a capacity to thrive in a rigorous academic environment.

Capacity for Intellectual Growth

PIIMR is a demanding, fast-paced, and highly-verbal environment. We look for individuals who will thrive on sophisticated ideas and lively
discussion. Our case-based method of learning depends upon the active participation of prepared students who can assess, analyze, and act upon complex information within often-ambiguous contexts. The MBA Admissions Board will review your prior academic performance, the results of the GMAT, and, if applicable, TOEFL and/or IELTS, and the nature of your work experience. There is no particular previous course of study required to apply; you must, however, demonstrate the ability to master analytical and quantitative concepts.

Engaged Community Citizenship

So much of our MBA experience - including the case method, section life, and student-organized events - requires the active collaboration of the entire PIIMR community. That's why we look for students who exhibit the highest ethical standards and respect for others, and can make positive contributions to the MBA Program. The right candidates must be eager to share their experiences, support their colleagues, and teach as well as learn from their peers.

Please note that there is no minimum work experience requirement for the MBA Program. Successful candidates are able to demonstrate strength in the criteria outlined above, regardless of their number of years of work experience. They include college seniors with significant leadership experience, as well as individuals with as little as one to two years of full-time work experience.

3. College students and international applicants should read the specific information we've provided for them on their respective Web pages.

4. Review the Application Dates page to select an application period most appropriate for you. Please note that you may submit an application no more than once per year.

5. Organize the applications materials you'll need including transcripts, test scores, resume and recommender contact information.

6. Submit your written application online here. All applications andrecommendations must be submitted online or in person or via mail.

To be considered for admission, an applicant must have successfully completed the following:

* A degree program at an accredited college/university or its equivalent.
* Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) exam or CAT or MAT OR our Internal Examination Test which will be carried after receiving your application.
* Submission of a complete online application or personal application or by mail for evaluation.

To apply for Paramanand International Institute of Management and Research Program, we ask you to assemble and prepare a variety of materials that will help us assess your qualifications. Remember, all materials must be submitted to PIIMR prior to interview. The following serves as a preview of

Application Components

After your application has been submitted and reviewed, you may be invited to an interview. The interview is an indicator of interest, but is not a guarantor of admission; it serves as one element among many that are considered as we review your application. All interviews are conducted by invitation only, at the discretion of the Admissions Board. If invited, however, you must participate in order to complete the application process.

Neither the timing of your interview nor its format - in-person or by phone
— implies anything about the status of your application or affects your candidacy. Invitations to interview may be extended up until the notification date of a round and are a positive indicator no matter when you
receive them.

As you prepare your application to Paramanand International Institute of Management and Research, please be aware of the following policies:

* All applications and recommendations must be submitted online or in person.
* Only one application may be submitted per year.
* Each applicant is responsible for ensuring his/her application is complete.
* The Admissions Board will not consider any additional materials or changes once an application has been submitted.
* The completed application becomes the confidential property of Paramanand International Institute of Management and Research and is not returnable.
* Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all the information and accompanying material provided in connection with their application is authentic and accurate.
* PIIMR may at any time require applicants to provide satisfactory verification of the information and documents submitted as part of their application. If an applicant is unable to do so, PIIMR reserves the right to cease consideration of the application, to withdraw any offer of admission already made, and/or to terminate one's status as a student.
* Applicants assume all costs for authenticating and verifying documents and information associated with their application.

* Once an application is submitted, the Board reserves the right to request additional information from the applicant, including, but not limited to, an interview.
* All applicants who have been invited for an interview must fulfill the request in order to complete the application process.
